Guys & Gals,

I'm considering upgrading my MY02 wheels (with the OEM Bridgestone RE050 tires in mind) and I've narrowed it down to a few options:

1. Works Meister S2R, 17X7.5 Front, 17X9.0 Rear, offset unknown

2. Prodrive GC-07C, 17X7.5 Front +48mm offset, 17X8.5 Rear +54mm offset

3. SSR GT1, 17X7.5 Front, 17X8 Rear, offset unknown (TireRack)

4. SSR Competition, 17X8 Front, 17X9 Rear, offset unknown (TireRack)

1. & 2. are from www.scienceofspeed.com whereas 3. & 4. are from TireRack...

My questions are:

1. Please let me know which you'd choose, providing the offset are right.

2. Why are the tires associated with 3. & 4. (TireRack) have 205/50-17 front & 225/45-17? whereas on MY04 (& 05) they are 215/50-17 front & 245/50-17 rear?

I kinda know which one I like the best but I'd love to hear your suggestions. Also, I do want them to (at least) weigh about the same as my MY02's (i.e. wheel + tire) if not lighter. Also, please let me know if there's another place that sell the Work or Prodrive wheels cheaper than the aforementioned site.
