Ive got a stock 98 cd player, and I remember seeing a site on the net with directions of how to modify the LED's inside so that it illuminates a different colour rather than stock green. I cant find it anymore lol, would anybody know the link?

 

ok i figured out how to get to the LED's. I want to change the illumination to red instead of the stock blue. teh LED's are covered in a blue rubber. anyone know where i can find red rubber LED covers? ill post pics soon

light bulb coverings.. thats gay.. once they get used up, the covering will start to fade.. go with leds man...

There are diy instructions and products there.... But if i were you, go buy the leds off ebay... but if you decide to purchase from there, use this that i got from them..

the leds and resistors.. its all in the website... becuase leds use less power than required regular bulbs, you need a resistor to regulate the power goin to the led...

Leds last approximately 100000 hrs... virtually longer than a car from what i heard.. they use less power, and are way brighter than bulbs...

I dont have pictures of my led conversion in my car, but i have led conversion to my headlights, side markers, interior conversion, 3rd brake lights and soon my taillights, whole guage cluster, door lights, and dome lights...

In the end, the only kind of bulbs i will have in my car is my hid bulb and high beam..
