Default Throttle Position Sensor

Hey there,
I have a 2002 RSX auto transmission.
I recently have experienced problems when the cold weather rolled in. In the morning hours, when I first start driving, about 10 min into the drive the check engine light comes on and the transsmission starts to mess up. It is drivable, but a pain in the ass. To make a long story short I found out that the trouble codes are P0122 and P1298. I have been told by a trusted mechanic it is most likely the throttle position sensor. Acura only sells throttle body, with the sensor attached, not individually. I was wondering if it's possible to change just the sensor? If so, where would I go about getting one, because there is none on the internet that I could find.

Lastly, where is the throttle body located? Maybe I can clean this sensor or something.

Please let me know if you have any advise.
Thanks

I'd imagine that the number of people on any of the RSX forums that have ever seen this problem or attempted to solve it themselves is pretty low.

Most 2002 RSX's are still under warranty, and most of the people on the forums don't drive automatics.

Maybe try honda-tech or clubrsx?
