Default How to make your car un-stealable???

Okay, right now, I'm living in Hailey, Idaho. very small town, virtually no crime rate at all. I'm going to be moving to Orange county (area) in california. possibly temecula or aneheim. anyway, i have a '93 prelude w/ just about everything done to it conceivable. i.e. full kit, custom paint, 18" ADR wheels w/ yokohama rubber, bremboslotted/drilled rotors, mirror tint, cf hood, and even more done to both the motor & interior. i've got about 12,000 in aftermarket into it. anyway, all I need for security up here in idaho is a standard security system by Code Alarm. Before I move, I plan on adding a Perimeter sensor (invisible field that beeps when penetrated), another shock sensor, detachable steering wheel hub for sparco wheel, locking lugnuts. and that's all I can think of. What else could I possibly do? have the door's keyholes shaved? (i hate shaved door handles) any other ideas??

get that paging system that pages you when your alarm goes off. shaved handles or keyholes won't really stop theives.

A battery and fuel pump kill switch would be good. Viper GPS tracking would also be cool.

Get whatever security system you like, if you have a flashy car, something bad is bound to happen. And living in Socal...multiply that by a few.

Anyway, I would just get a decent alarm system and get it installed by someone who knows what the heck they are doing. If they are going to put the brain under the steering wheel, chances are it can get disabled pretty quickly. Find an installer who is willing to take more time and hid the box. And along with that, install a couple switches. Switches merely interrupt the circuit of a component until it is turned on.

And last of all, be smart. Know where to and not to park your car. Know when to and not when to park your car.

dude....you can get all the shit you want.
They cant move or start the car, then they will come back with a tow truck and tow it away.....and like dumbasses your neighbors would see it getting stolen and they wont think nothing.

But like he said----^ get the paging system.
There really isnt a way to make your car unstealable.
I would just put alot of shit in the car that way the theif/asshole has to struggle to remove all that shit adding in extra time on his stealing frenzy.....

How to make your car unstealable huh? I don't know if that's possible. You can make it very difficult like WiLL suggested, that's about all you can do.

do whatever you can possibly do... get a security alarm with all the sensors, tracking, paging system, have that autolock thing for the pedals and a club but i guess you dont need one for the steering wheel, get that wheel immobolizer lock, put a car cover over the car with a cable lock,... that's a lot of hassle what i just said and its a lot of stuff but you still gotta be mad careful cause no car is ever safe from theft.

don't forget good ol physical security systems as well, like an AutoLock. I have an alarm myself, but all it is, is a electronic barrier, which can be bypassed somehow. A physical barrier is there if you disconnect the battery or not.
