Can anyone tell me the items needed to produce 400 whp with my H22 Accord 1990? The engine was recently rebuilt with 8:1 compression pistons. The turbo I plan to use is the Precision SC61 turbo. What else is needed for a complete turbo kit to obtain 400whp with pump gas? Who manufactures the large intercoolers?

Your setup sounds decent but 400 hp on pump gas, why? Also are your 8 to 1 pistons forged? If so I'd like to know who or where you had your block sleeved? If not sleeved would you be able to fill us in on who bore and honed your block for most machine shops don't know how to bore and hone a frm sleeve!

 

If this set up is going to be used for a daily driver, what I would recommend is get a 60-1 turbine, nice huge intercooler, big injectors (550cc's or higher) , standalone unit, and a very very good tunner. There are alot of huge intercooler's out there it just depends on your likings or style. I personally choose XS's Skyline GTR core w/ the apexi end tanks. It's nice, huge, and looks hella mean behind my front bumper. If you have the money, get an apexi intercooler just be ready to pay bucks for the core. Good luck on your project.
