I've been doing that for a while now. I've currently got a background investigation about to be started with Marin County Sheriff, and I've got an Oral Board Interview scheduled for next Saturday with Oxnard Police Department.

The most promising department though is Novato Police Department here in Northern California.

The Captain, and oddly enough the guy who handles all hiring for the department, came up to me out of the blue... without me even saying a word about if they were hiring, and asked me some questions and then told me to apply with Novato and have them put it "In my box so I can look at it Monday morning." That's definitely a good lead considering he just came up to ME for some reason and was like "Jordan, what's your background look like?" and then basically TOLD me to apply. I want to go down South but I have to take every option I get and if this hires me, then that's what I've got to do. Hopefully my girlfriend will understand..

So that's where it's at now, either way Ill be working by Halloween at the latest I think.
