so i decided to go with diamond detailing, after seeing jack95tsi's 3kgtVR4 get refurbished by them.

let me start off by saying that I had a TON of stone chips, some small, a few quite large, on my hood and front bumper. The went through and touched them all up, wet sanded, and buffed my car to perfection. in all honesty, i expected my car to turn out good, i just had no idea whatsoever that it would be as good as it is!!! they completely detailed my exterior, with different layers of wax and paint treatment, leaving no detail unaddressed. they even cleaned my wheels and then waxed them too!

results:

10 out of 10 customer service
10 out of 10 finished product
10 out of 10 paint touch up
10 out of 10 price to quality value

anyone that is contemplating getting a new paint job because of stone chips, think twice, cause diamond detailing can do one hell of a job.

i didnt realize my paint could look this good. i am still amazed  x 651321867931141436327465416

feel free to post pics of your work guys!

Well, it broke down like this:
*I washed the car
*my boss followed me claying and drying
*I polished the car besides the hood and front bumper while my boss filled in and wetsanded the chips.
*I polished with a lighter polish
*I put Meguiars NXT on because we wanted to try something new
*Then we topped NXT with Meguiars #16 because in our experience, NXT alone isn't as durable as they say--good look though.

Then while I picked up, my boss took the rotary and poorboys SSR3 to the wetsanding marks on the hood. Then followed with all my steps on the porter cable random orbital. Rotaries are great but the PC tends to fix some of the rotaries shortcomings (sometimes it hallows and you don't see it, PC fixes that without you even having to think about it).

Front bumper was not wetsanded, just filled in. The paint was single stage and thinner then the body panel paint. Wetsanding and using the rotary on it would have been a bad idea.
