all my lcds are 25ms and there is no problem watching movies (or even TV) and i can play halo on them or CoD with no problems.
25ms is the magic boundary that prevents ghosting. anything above that is gravy.
oh and it's not refresh rate, it's reaction time.

Should note, refurb doesn't mean it's bad... should take a look into that, seems like quite a deal. My Sonys' are 20ms, but no problems with gaming, really...

but if your going to spend $800 on the viewsonic, dell has one for a little less, they usually run some sort of deal on weekends. which is how i got mine for $680 1 year ago.
