What you think?

I think it looks quite buff.........I had to recover the whole A-pillar in vinyl, but I think it's pretty close..........lifts the soundstage up more than it I ever thought possible.

I'm planning on the same thing in my BMW - but I'm running it active - it's best when you have mids that play very high (about 5khz+) and you run that kind of crossover point.

That situation will work well with passives too. high freqencies are less path length depenedent then your midrange freq.

They look nice!

Thanks guys, now I just have to do something about the door mounted panels, all still stock, but we're planning new door builds..next however is 2 X p2's in the boot a P800.4 battery relocated to the trunk and a few other goodies.

Maybe look at painting the trims grey as well as doing the grills.

Pretoria South Africa. The car was actually a JDM imported car that I got for dirt cheap. The civic sedan is known as the ballade over here.

Thats awsome i just finished my a pillar project too. Mine doesn't look as good as yours but it was my first try. I did the whole vinyl thing too and it bearly fit after. I think next time maybe texture paint. What did you use to hold down the vinyl? Im running all active.

Two things worked here. Firstly, I trimmed the sides of the A pillar panel a bit before I added the vinyl, you have to take into account the thickness of the vinyl that is going to be added. Secondly I used normal 3m material glue, let it set for about 20-30 minutes before joining the two. A heat gun also works well for stretching the material over, try and cool it down right afterwards with a cold/ damp cloth.

Texture paint doesn't look as good.....I did my previous ones like this and pulled them out.

Any pictures of yours???
