and it fuking hurt. i was taking the garbage out and a yellowjacket came out of nowhere and stung my thumb. It swelled pretty quickly and i flushed it with water and put it in ice. This really screwed up my day because im a cashier/waiter and i handle money and dishes all day. My thumb grew twice in diameter and i could barely use it. Later that day while i was cleaning the windows, another yellowjacket popped up right in front of me. I was so i sprayed it twice with windex and slowly killed it with paper towels. This was the first time i was stung by a bee, at least i know im not allergic to those suckers.

I got stung by a big ass bumble bee once when I was like 10 or 12 I can't remember, all I remember is it hurt like motherfawking hell. I also got stung by just a regular bee but it didn't hurt as bad. Now a hornet that would fawking suck they're huge. I got stung on my ankle by the bumble bee. The thing looked like the size of a huge grape.

Well I got stung by tons of bees when I was a kid...it didn't hurt, and it didn't swell.

 

i'd say you are at least mildly allergic to bee stings.. yellowjacket stings don't carry that much venom and in turn don't usually swell that much, at least for me, after the initial sting they just itch a little bit. if your thumb swelled to twice it's size i'd suggest getting tested for he allergy before you get stung by something more substantial, swell up, and die.. just a thought
