I don't play NCAA, but there are some cool new upgrades. the graphics are better, but the Defence is the main difference. you can make an individual defensive player blitz, cover, QB spy, and the hit stick is pretty cool. when your controling a guy you move the right analog pad in the direction of the person you want to hit and they lay down a mean hit. Overall, its the best Madden yet. there are also new online mini games you can play. you can challange someone to 2minute drill. you have to play as offence, and defence and the person with the most points wins. there is also running attack which is alot of fun. two on two, 1blocker on offence and a running back. when you switch, you control 2 linebackers. I just started franchise mode and that is really impressive. if a player isn't happy on your team during the season, he'll talk to the papers and slam the team.(I thought that was really cool) Not to mention the soundtrack is great, as all the EA games are. I'd definately recommend picking up a copy. My friend got the collectors edition, and he says its not worth the extra $10 for the old games. besides why do you want to play old games?
that game was horrible.(but super old school) it didn't even resemble football. the magnetic foot ball game was way better than that. Tecmo Bowl, and the Madden series are the best football games.
