Default Opinions from owners of exhausts...

Looking to buy a cat-back exhaust very soon. My price range is about $500 bucks. What are you guys opinions about what to get? I have a 95' SE and do not want anything with that ricey high pitch sound.

I am currently debating on the Greddy Evo2 because it fits my needs, anything I should know about that model or anything similar? thanks.

I am going to have to strongly disagree with you here. My friend has a magnaflow on his gsr and the pitch is higher and FAR ricier than my evo. The evo has the deepest tone out of all the exhausts for the gsr, and its most likely due to the diameter of the muffler, which is huge. While the magnaflow and many other exhausts that sound ricy have much smaller diamter canister mufflers. Im not saying that all smaller diameter mufflers produce ricy noises by any means. I really like my evo

I also have the evo II. The magnaflow is cheap shit. Go with a higher quality Evo. They look and sound great.

I have the Apex-i World Sport, Not ricey at all. Just a nice deep tone that looks great too. Much like the RS-R Ex Mag

The greedy EVO is nice just like the WS and RS-R in low RPM's, but once you punch it with the EVO it sounds ricey. Also I have noticed that the EVO's polished muffler turns dull and yellow (at least two of my friends, and a third getting close to it) over time

i have hks hi-power on my 94 ls w/ headers. before the headers the exhaust was real deep and i got comments about it sounding like a carbon-ti on a wrx. but after i installed the headers the sound did become greater, but between the 2-4k rpm range it was still really deep yet when u get into your 5-6k rpm (also greatest torque range for the b18b1) it was loud but not like a weed wacker.....FYI: the HKS hi-power is a little bit pricey though, i purchased mine for $630, the best price online for the hi-power is probably at www.adventon.com , also the exhaust is not as big as an apex n1, but it does have straighter overall piping then the n1. hope this helps, but dont make your decision on wat other ppl say, just get wat u like.

i have a magnaflow on my car, its an ls and i love the way it sounds. its not high pitched at all, when i start the car it gives a nice low pitched idle. i was gonna go with the evo, i also wanted the skunk2 exhaust which is an awesome exhaust but my friend sold me the magnaflow for 200 bucks and i am satisfied.
