Default Acura immobilizer questions...

I just did a 2000 type r swap into my 96 gsr. However to use the 2000 type r ECU, besides getting the right conversion harness which goes from obd2a to obd2b, i have to add the immobilizer (and that is all i think). When i tried to add the immobilizer the car still didnt start. Everything turned on including the CEL but it wouldn't turn over. I am assuming that this is because the immobilizer isn't letting the ECU give the engine gas. Is there a way to remove the immobilizer circuit in the ECU, and how do you do it?
Or does anyone know how to bypass it?

I appreciate the help.

Speaking of dumb, wouldn't be dumb to post how to bypass the immobilizer on a public forum where anyone including theives can see and learn how?

And who is to say that you did not make up this story so you could charm us into giving you the info becuase you have your eyes set on stealing an ITR that looks like easy prey?

Now I hope you understand why I responded that why in my first post.

Can you or would you trust me if I asked that question?

yes there is. More ways than one really.

kenton: He's using a USDM motor and harness. He'd have to change a bit. It'd be a lot easier for him to just run a OBD1 conversion harness and a chipped ecu though.
