this construction in my backyard is making me go insane. they're here at the crack of dawn, making tons of noise so i can't sleep. they constantly block in my car, regardless of whether i've moved it out of the way or not. they leave trash all over the place. the other day this guy was leaning some big hunk of metal on my car, which really pissed me off.

i am so glad i'm leaving in a week, just so i can get away from this mess.

 

you're leaving to an even MORE construction-burdened town. all i hear outside my window in the morning is backhoe's, them dropping huge metal things, engines running....it's so annoying!!!

There are sound ordinances for most places that they can't do most of that stuff until 9am. Least around here. If they do, we are allowed to call the cops on them.

Doesn't matter if the noise is coming from a drunk party or a construction crew, the cops will still make em stop one way or the other.

 

what type of construction are they doing?

 

they're building our new garage, pool, and pool house, plus building retaining walls.

 

for your leisure...they won't stop building these damn graduate apartments across the street from me!!!

 

with cool things like that one must suffer. Hey it could be worse. Atleast you're not paying for the work. :joshers:

 

They were doing a lot of road construction by our old house about a year ago. There were so many rocks in the road...chipped up one of my Volks :wtc:

 

i guess thats true, but they started the pool late so we won't be able to use it until next year.
