Aright, my car is a 1999 Mercury Cougar as my sig says. The problem is my stupid bolt pattern, anyways, I think I found some rims that I like. The only problem is choosing a finish that looks good on a dark red car. What does everyone think of these rims, and which finish should I get?

either finish would be nice. but I'd go for the darker one, just because I like it that way.

I'm personally getting a little sick of the gunmetal and black rims. They used to look good but everyone and their sister has them. That said, I would pick silver but pick what you really like.

 

This argument makes no sense to me. If they used to look good how do they not look good now? Just because more people have them, how does that affect how they look.

First everybody mods their cars to stand out, altezzas, big wings, body kits, etc. Then that became common, so you guys changed your mind and decided that was lame and now stock is cool again, with "subtle" mods, aka JDM.

I just think the trends of the past couple years have been hilarious. I don't care which one is the trend right now, I want to know which looks best. I've personally always hated dark rims, but they are growing on me. Silver just looks too plain to me, too much like my stock rims. Chrome is alright but it's too expensive, I think the dark ones will look pretty good.

Can anybody photoshop them for me?
