Mine has not had a headunit for 7-8 months now.

 

I have the stock one with the finger infared slider and the rare factory 12 disc changer My 89 325is will never see another aftermarket head unit

 

My stock headunit crapped out on me long time ago. Cassette tape player broke, and the volume knob made some static noise. I replaced it with an aftermarket one and after 2 years of having it in my car, someone broke my window, pryed out of the headunit, and cut the wiring to it. :madfawk:

 

I've gotten used to not listening to music while I drive.

 

I have the stock radio and an aftermarket for mine :db:

Hey i think i still have my stock E-30 radio with the code and all... I replace with a aftermarket, I remember how complicated it was!! the wiring in the E30 is unbeleivable, jjust to change the light bulb on trip computer was a hassle, but i would buy one back anyday! i really miss it, i seriously do think i have driven a funner car. What model do you have E30dood? really thinkng about getting a M3 but they are soooo hard to find! and your porbbly garantied it got th shit beat out of it a couple of time!!
