This was posted in the Prelude Forum as well. If you want to know so bad get both cars and take them to a track and race. The Prelude and RSX Type S are about equal so it comes down to the driver.

I saw a newer lude last night and thought of this thread. A prelude may be the better choice if you are planning on heavy moddification.

A friend of mine has a 1994 prelude, and his fiancee has a rsx-s and he said his prelude beats it by 3 or 4 car lengths in the quarter mile.

i have my money on the RSX-S because it is about 200bs lighter and with a good driver, it'll beat the Prelude. K20A2 > H22A imho.

i thought the base type s is 2795 and the base lude non-sh is 2904
thats a tad over 100 lbs
it'll be a driver's race in real world situations
