Black here.

The way the market is right now, the PY cars are slightly less popular than black and CW. So it's the PY cars that get taken apart earlier. If they're not the least popular right now, I think they will be at some point in the near future and, therefore, rarer.

As far as production numbers, there were only about 800 '97 CW produced. They went overboard in '98 with another close to 2000.

However, even assuming that there are close to 3000 CW ITR produced for the USDM, that would still make them rarer in production numbers than both black and PY, assuming that half the production of '00 and '01 was each colour.

I haven't seen evidence that the yellow ones are less popular. In fact, they are MORE popular, and in more demand. That's why Acura built more yellow than black.

No, they didn't. Not for the U.S., anyway.

U.S. sales:
1997: 318
1998: 1,023
2000: 1,347
2001: 1,157
TOTAL: 3,845

My first choice would be CW, then PY... or I'd go black to keep low key. Man I want a HypeR!@

nsxtasy is right, and assumming that any color is less popular then another is just an opinion. just cause u might see more black R's in ur area or what ever doesnt mean that one is more popular. the only determaining factor would b the actually stats from acura stating how many of each color was sold. and i dont think anyone really knows that.
