Default Bored and toying with ideas...

Well, I know for a fact that I have about 3-5K miles before my suspension goes straight to shit, so I gotta start planning for the inevitable...

But I want to have fun and be unconventional. One idea that I was toying with was that I could install ITR-style rear LCAs and use ITR aftermarket coilovers... the only reason I'm playing with this idea is because I've heard that the ITR rear LCA's are a teeny bit of the formula for it's awesome handling and minimal oversteer... BS or not?

Anyways, basically, I'll be needing some new front upper UCAs, as the bushing in mine are shot and I'd like to get some with adjustable camber, new coilovers (Ideally, I'd love some Zeal B6s, but I can't justify the cost... so something around the TeinSS range would be acceptable. I'm not looking to be auto-x competitive, but I place much more stock in handling than comfort), a rear camber kit, and maybe new sway bar bushings for the front. Any opinions on what brands/parts to look at, and any known deals?

No one has any suggestions? TTT, and mods, if you get the chance, move this to a forum where I'd get answers :-P

And yeah, I'd like the adjustability of full coilovers, but if there's a far superior solution that involves a shock/spring combo, I'm all ears

perhaps not so unconventional, but if you're looking to spend a somewhat reasonable amount of money, with a great outcome, i'd suggest something like koni-specific ground controls, w/ konis, of course. add to that an ITR rear swaybar, or comptech sway/tie combo, and you're good to go (assuming you already have a nice set of tires). not too radical, but awesome bang for the buck.

The rear sway bar and tie bar from Comptech is teh roxxor. One of the best upgrades I've done to date... I also have a Neuspeed front strut bar..

What about those nifty, what are they, Koni SP3?

Reno nailed it.

While I'm overjoyed with my TEIN setup, I'm probably more tolerant of a firm ride than most people. h: But when it comes to grip and body control, with these, I'm enthralled.

The SP3 shocks, in combination with a matched coilover or spring, would be another great solution. IMO, the price paid for ITR LCA's and such are rediculous. If you're that hardcore, I'd go with urethane bushing upgrades and chassis braces up the wazoo.

yep. either koni yellow would work, but koni yellow sp3 > koni yellow. if you do a search, you should easily find the differences between the two.
