Default i painted my vavle cover =(

it looks like hell, damn i did a nasty job on it...im going to stripe it and do it again...no i didnt take pics b/c its uuuuuuuglay. any suggestions on how to do it better?

just make sure the engine is completely cool.. use plenty of coats and leave enough time for each one to dry.. use primer too, i'm sure you already did though

what color are you painting it?

Use vasoline wherever you don't want it to get painted. When you are done you can just wipe it off! I painted the HONDA on the valve cover red that way

i painted it grey...came out like crap. gotta strip it and do it again some other day.

I took mine off. Filled holes with newspaper. Scuffed it up a little bit. Used Bond-Aid. Let dry, they spray high temp paint lightly, letting dry and using many coats.

i did min and it cam out good
what i did is sand it down very good and then but like 2 cotes of primer on it then the pant u wont

me and purekozcrx did mine.. took it off, cleaned it, masked off the holes, sprayed it, sanded off the "honda" and "vtec" and the "H" and put it back on..

^^ good job dood. thats one of the cleanest looking engine bays i've ever seen.
