The most economic decision is to sell your automatic Integra and purchase a 5-speed. The amount of work that goes into the conversion is not worth it.

Oh, and if you're wanting to race, you'll have to do a whole lot more than a conversion to manual to be competitive in the quarter-mile.

i'm doing the conversion cuz i dont wanna sell my car, i like it and put a lot of work into it, so if u wanna keep ur car, the conversion is good. And it will be reliable as long as you do everything right. It's gonna be well worth it to me.

We did an auto to manule swap in about 5 hours. It ran just like factory. It's not that hard and worth every $$$$$. Good luck.

If you can do all the work yourself, it'd be more economical.

Otherwise, expect to pay at least $1000 worth of parts and labor.

I did my conversion along with my motor, so I saved some money there.

Default Blown Tanny

I just got a good deal on a '90 Integra LS with a blown auto tranny. I was wondering what parts i would need to make the swap. I know about the pedals, shift linkages, and minor stuff, but i want to clarify what major stuff i will need. Do i need to buy different axles?
Also i was wondering if anybody knew what Honda trannys are interchangeable with the Acura 5 speed. I have a buch of civic and accord parts so it would be nice to know which tranny i can use. Thanks for any help you can give me.
