Default Fuel Filter Direction

On our fuel filters there are arrows, but mine, along with many others are connected 'backwards' (the arrow that is pointing IN (towards) the filter is connected to the fuel rail, and the arrow pointing OUT (away) from the filter is conneected back to the hard line and to the fuel tank.

What method do we use to hook them up? Should i follow the arrows on the filter, or keep the 'backwards' orientation that i and everyone else seems to have...

Thanks

Fix it. The arrow points in the direction of flow, always.

True... just try to get a new filter as soon as you can afford one. Your 'teg will love you for it.
