Default ecu codes for 96 integra 45 and 67...Need advice.

I got the codes for my check engine light off of my 96 integra. They are 45 and 67. 67 is the catalyt converter. I think thats pretty self explanitory. Ecu code 45 is giving me some trouble. Code 45 means "System Too Lean or Too Rich malfunction in the fuel monitoring systems". What can be going wrong? I am trying to get smogged and this is holding me back. Thanks in advanced for your help.

Rene

Id say check any fuel components (filter, rail, injectors, etc.), but other than that :dunno:

Sounds to me like a bad O2 sensor. It would seem logical that the ECU would see a failing O2 sensor as a bad catalyt converter. Also, the ECU adjusts air/fuel mixture based on readings from the O2 sensor...so it may be one in the same problem.

you have to jump the ECU service connector (located above the passenger kick panel) and read off the blinking CHK ENG light.
