my timing is advanced to......
22 degrees, i know stock is 16 degrees, my car is running fine the way it is, should i keep it this way?????

running premium gas i take it? i'd say mark where it is, go to the track, one run with it the way it is, then bring it back and see if there's a difference. with that timing and cheap gas i'd expect poor running.

no i run regular gas, car seems to run really good, i think ill mark it where it is at and turn it down to about 20 or so for everyday driving.

advanced it towards the intake manifold, retarded is toward the rad. support.

when you are looking at the crank pulley with the timing gun....which way is advanced toward tdc (right) away from tdc (left)
