Default Ease of SirI into 92 Civic hatch?

Yeah I know its a pretty direct swap to put a B16 into a civic hatch. However this is for my friend's foster son who doesn't have a ton of money to spend. As direct as it should be, what are the other misc. parts that he will need to complete the swap that might not come with the one he will probably end up buying off of hmotorsonline?

SIR I on a 92 civic? Your going to need to convert to cable clutch. You have a hydrolic clutch right now, i believe hasport sells the kits for it.

HASport mounts with cable clutch conversion, GSR fuel line, GSR axles and half shaft, integra throttle cable, Si or 94+ rear trans bracket, p30 ecu, obd1 injectors and dizzy, fluids, I would rec. upgrading the radiator, I was having cooling issues. any specific questions just shoot me a pm...

Thank you thats the kind of info I was looking for............so this kind of makes me think.........not sure how much all that stuff is but I'm thinking this might start to push it outside of his budget. why do you need a new ecu? doesn't the swap come with one?

SiR1 is an obd-0 motor. meaning it will come with all the stuff to shove it into something like a crx or 4th gen civic. when you put it into a 5th gen, you generally want to keep with the obd for that car. you can sell the ecu you get with it and buy the other one, they balance out on cost...likewise with the dizzy and such.

on a sidenote:
im about to swap a b16a (1st gen cable) into my friend's 91 si hatch. i was reading up on it abit and it seems pretty straight-forward, although some people have alot to say about integra brackets for the tranny, etc.

anyone here have first hand experience on the b16a->EF swap?

thanks
~kris
