Default where should i put my subs in my integra?

in the integras trunk there is a measly piece of cardboard in the bottom over the spare. but i dont feel real safe putting the sub in the box on top of that. If anyone else has done that or has any ideas help me out.

My box with 2 12"s are in my trunk on top of the piece of cardboard. I've never had a problem with that.

that little flimsy board will flex. but its generally no problem since the spare is pretty much going to be supporting it.

you can always get a sheet of plywood and replace that board. or fiberglass it into the side or even where the spare is.

i replaced the cardboard with plywood in my hatch. I just traced the cardboard on some plywood and cut it out. it adds maybe 5-10 pounds...but if you're throwin in a system you're not worried about weight.

how many of what size subs are you running? that will make a difference... you can always reinforce the cardboard with some firring. i only have 1 8" so it sits nicely in the back of the well....

I bolted my Infinity BassLink through the metal trunk floor on the passenger's side. With the cornering loads I generate, I cant afford to have things sliding and bashing about.

What about bolting your sub box to a length of angle aluminum, then bolting the angle aluminum to the body longitudinally, just aft of the rear seat? :dunno:
