It'll physically fit, but wouldn't be emissions legal in most states. You would have to use an OBD1 ECU to run the OBD1 motor, and most states emissions test OBD2 vehicles by scanning the diagnostic port. Since the port is a feature of OBD2 ECUs, an OBD1 ECU won't work with the scanner. On the other hand you could run it with an OBD2 ECU but not all of the necessary sensors would be there which would cause you to throw one or more CEL codes. Most states will fail an OBD2 vehicle if it has any CEL codes.

I would suggest finding out how exactly the state you live in emissions tests OBD2 vehicles and go from there.

I am doing the same swap, and the h22a did fit and line up. Like fatbooty said, it is an extremely difficult swap, with very few resources as not too many people have done it, so few in fact, that hasport had never heard of this swap completed. Email if you need any assistance with your swap, and good luck.
