was replacing head gasket and seen this is water supposed to be here around the piston cylinder there was water on a few pistons as well and do i need to remove this water thanks in advance

Don't remove the coolant around the cylinder bores. The cylinder bores are free-standing on B-series; also known as "open deck." The head gasket and the head provides the seal between the bores and the block.
It would be wise to siphon the coolant off the pistons, however.

Related question... is the engine consuming coolant?

Well, if you remove the plug on the front of the engine, the coolant will drain. You should put fresh coolant in after you do the gasket anyway, because you will get debris in the coolant.
