How Do I remove the silencer on my OBX muffler?

Default How Do I remove the silencer on my OBX muffler?

How do I remove the silencer on my B2 OBX muffler with rolled tips? I removed the screw on top and tried to pull it out but all that happened was I grunted and the thing didnt budge... is it welded on there and all I can do is tune it with that little crappy turning thing? please help

I don't have an OBX but I do have a similar muffler. When I take the screw out sometimes it is hard to pull out. Try pulling on it will some pliers, that works for me.

i took a plier and my brother held the muffler and we both pulled and no luck, the things stuck on there how much does it cost normally to have a muffler shop install the muffler? its axle back...

Yea good luck gettin that thing out, i have a friend who has the b1 and his came right out, mine on the other hand wont come out and i tried the same thing you did and i got nothing, but befor you put it on keep trying because now i have it on the car its harder for me to try!!!

its my daily driver, its a 1997 accord Lx. All i've done so far on it is DC sports intake and headers, 10.2mm spark plug wires, and the exhaust. body wise i added clears up front and ellipsoid headlights... thats about it
