I'd say he's full of shit. Get some stainless steel exhaust piping. Kteller has badass piping and it's not to pricey.

i got a full 3" exhaust system made of aluminized piping and its great. Its lighter than my stock 2 1/4" system and I dont have any problems with it at all. If the price is right then go for it.
I should add my exhaust isnt on an Integra but its still the same concept.

Aluminized is much lighter and cheaper than Stainless, and if you live in an area that doesn't have salted roads, and not too close to the beach, it will be quite fine. If you live where they salt the roads or within a mile or two or a beach, that exhaust will rot right out.

It might change the sound a tiny bit, but that has much more to do with what sort of muffler and resonator you decide to use.

Stainless steel is harder than aluminized steel, so Stainless Steel will have a slightly sharper tone to it... but not really that much of a difference
