Default Rotor size, thinking about conversion

I'm thinking about doing the legend caliper conversion on my teg, and I was wondering how large of a rotor I could use with that caliper and my stock 15's. I searched, but could not find all the info. Is the prelude, legend or type R rotors the ones I want to get for the front? I read that some of them are the same size. Does anyone know the stock gsr rotor sizes(diam.) and the size of the rotors on the prelude, legend and type R? Please give the year of the model that the suggested rotor is from. Thanks guys, -Kyle

prelude or legend unless you plan on doing a 5 lug with it... but the prelude/legend/accord rotors are 4x114 so take em to a machinist and havem redrilled 4x100. i was considering doing this conversion as well but decided not to...

i think the rotors are 13" not sure exactly but you will need at least a 15" rim to clear it.

The stock Integra rotors are 10.4 inches in diameter, and I believe the Prelude/ITR rotors are somewhere between 11" and 11.5" in diameter. The Legend rotor is the same diameter as the Prelude/ITR but a bit thicker.

Hate to link to that "other" board, but here's some good info:

fatbooty, do you think it would be a better idea to grind material away from the side of the caliper that mounts to the knuckle, or the side of the caliper that faces the rotor??? If you grind material away from the rotor side, wouldn't that leave the inner pad further away from the rotor than the outer pad(side close to mounting knuckle) since the caliper isnt actually adjusted sideways like it would be if you were to take material off of the mounting side?? this would help alot, thanks again fatbooty.

I haven't done this conversion so I can't really say what my personal opinion on the matter is.

From the linked thread, it would appear that the picture posted with the blue and red arrows shows how to do it.

You can't grind the caliper on the rotor side. That would comprimise the structural integrity of the caliper, not good.
