Default Intake???Weapon-R..or AEM CAI????????

I have an Integra GSR and I was wondering which one I should get. I had a CAI once and I ran a 14.8 with headers and exhaust, the CAI's been good to me so far. Then one day I ran over my filter...and now am searching to buy an intake. I've been reading all those weapon R test..but not sure which one to get. Help me out!

You know you can replace the filter... right? :eh:

Stick with what you have, the only difference between intakes is the filter size and weither it is positioned to get cold air or not. In a Honda, I would stick with a cold air variety, because Honda chassis allow a placement of the filter in an area outside the engine bay that many other companies chassis do not accomidate.

I agree, buy a replacement filter and stick with your CAI, since you've already committed to the expense. Just be wary of water ingestion during your rainy season.

Hydrolocking a motor is not fun.

thanks guys...i'll just go get me a replacement filter then. But i got a question...what's the diameter on the AEM CAI pipe for a gsr? Cause I got one of those cheapo's AEM style from eBay and mine was 2.75" only. I thought it would be atleast 3 inches, but i don't know. Is AEM cai pipe all 3inches? cause i might get me a real AEM CAI this time if it's 3inches.

I would have to say that there is no significant advantage to that extra 1/4 inch.

AEM CAI piping for GSR is 2.75", Type-R comes in 3". Also note the Type-R version wont fit with the GSR intake manifold.
