Default 5th gen CV boot replacement

I have a 95 Honda Civic EX 1.6L with a blown CV boot on the passenger front. Is this a rather easy replacement or do I need to take the entire axle off? Anyone ever replaced this shiat on their own? Is it as easy as swapping the front suspension? I've never done it so that's why I'm asking . Hand tool friendly?

save yourself the money, buy a $60 factory service manual. It's easy to do it.

My uncle and I took the whole axle off, and replaced it with a $17 boot.

It probably would take about 45 minutes to 1 hour, but we also replaced my rack & pinion at the same time, so I'm not completely sure.
