Default H22a swap into '97 civic hatch (auto-to-manual)

I am new to the forum, so I want to say that I will appreciate any help I can get. I have a friend that wants me to perform a swap on his '97 civic, which currently has a stock drivetrain with an automatic trans, and he wants a H22a manual. I have been researching this for the past 4 days on the net, magazines, etc... I have been getting Mixed opinions on the procedure of the swap. Some say you can keep A/C & power steering, others say forget about it. Some say it is as simple as getting the right mounts and wiring harness, others say you need to cut out sections of the engine bay, and alot of different wiring procedures...SO I AM LOST. If anyone has any advice on this matter please help. Thanks

When it comes to a H22a your gonna get mixed thoughts and shit. That swap is kinda shitty to do. I did hear on another thread something about cutting something in the engine bay. That might be right. Has port has a set of mounts that I sugest your friend to get. There was a guy here who had that swap on his civic and the frame was ripping because he has shitty ass mounts. Goodluck
