I juts bought a 98 GSR, it is all stock besides the 2.5" Custom Exhaust Piping. I have $1500 left over and I am not really sure what I should spend that money on. I wanted your opinions on what I should get with that money and how it would help my cars performance, I plan to turbo my car this summer so keep that in mind. I just want to know what you guys think I should get and why.I know it is not much but what would you do?

 

if you are getting a turbo, build your bottom end a bit, low compression pistons and stuff, save the $1500 for that... thats what I recommend... cuz if you don't build it, w/ high compression if you boost a bit too high your engine can die ... heh

 

Save the money for the turbo kit (or parts, if you peice a kit together.)

 

Whatever you do, don't let that money burn a hole in your wallet, keep it tucked away safely. Just keep saving and saving...

 

yea I know I have to lower the compression, I just wanted to know what brands you guys trust and would give me the best performance. It would be nice if you could even show me some Dynos. I want to buy a Drag Turbo kit, do you guys think this is a good choice or can you point me out a better kit and tell me why it is better.
