Default Wont start

after driving for more than 5-10 minutes in the houston heat, when i turn off the car.. say to go in a get a drink at a gas station when i come back out the check engine light is on and the car wont start.. it cranks but wont start. if i pop the hood for a few minutes and let it cool it will start right up. so it has to be heat related. car is not overheating and is in perfect running condition i can tell.

anyone know why it would do this..

its a 92 2dr LS 5 spd

you could bring it to someone and they can hook up a diagnostic and see what sensor is make the check egine light come on.that might be the fastest way to find out whats wrong.

Our cars have on-board diagnostics, you just have to pull the passenger side foot board and jump the green connector service port wire with a paper clip to bring up the codes. Count the flashes then look up the code.

I bet it is your Main Fuel Relay if your CEL stays on when you try to start it. When your CEL comes on and stays on, then your fuel pump is not pressurizing the system. The Main Fuel Relay is notorious for going bad on 2nd gen integras and is an easy fix located behind the drivers side kick panel under the steering wheel. Hope this helps and you figure your problem out.
