Was this a good deal on my new 99 GS-R?
So I bought a 1999 GS-R last night. Really fun car so far!
It's never been in an accident, was in pristine condition, and has under 33k miles. Cloth interor, though, I would have liked leather.
The guy had done a little work to it, all cosmetic as far as I can tell. Pretty nice tint job, nice altezzas. Stereo, engine, intake, etc. all are stock.
I paid him $9200. How did I do?

actually the "CF" tails with the black car look pretty nice. But do remove that awful decal...wth's it say? Cat Custom?
*EDIT* and 33k miles? that car's still a newborn... UNLESS its been rolledback, because thats really low miles...

remove the decal, gay tail lights, and that ugly ass tint and youd have a sweet ass car. have fun keeping it clean though. you got a good buy. you should see if he has the stock tail lights still
Thanks for the replies guys.
Yeah, that decal on the rear left has got to go. It says "Cat Customs" or Custom, whatever that means. I'll probably take it off today or tomorrow, gotta get some goop-off.
What was even worse than the Cat Customs decal was the sticker on the rear windshield. You can sort of see it in the pictures. It said "Toyz R Us" in rainbow lettering with some hokey bulldog or something. Luckily, that peeled right off.
I don't mind the Altezzas right now. They aren't great, but I have more important things to address right away, like intake and exhaust
I'd rather have a straight black tint too, but I'll leave this one for now. It's not THAT garish.
Also, 9600baud, I was a little worried about the rollback too. I don't think that happened, but I don't really have any way to tell. I mean, I didn't know the guy, so who knows. I can believe the low miles though, since the car had some parking permits on it for an Air Force base. If the primary driver was in the military, he probably wouldn't get to drive it that much.
