clutch/flywheel setup??
What is a good clutch/flywheel setup for a 98 ITR with I/H/E (besides a stock clutch)...i researched and found out that toda with the 8.8 lb flywheel seems to be good for everyone...but it is around $450 so is there anything cheaper that is just as good??
I am using the Comptech 6.75 FW and ACT xt-ss clutch, its a bit harsh on moving from a dead stop but once your rolling you will love it.
But next time I need a clutch I'm going to use a stock clutch and the comptech Fw I have now. maybe
Also I have bought from clutchcityonline.com twice with no problems and great service. And I could not find a better price anywhere...

The Clutchmasters/Fidanza flywheel is another nice and relatively inexpensive choice - an excellent deal IMO, and I very much like the Exedy Cerametallic clutch that it's paired with on my brother's car (although it is admittedly a bit noisy and slightly "grabby"). I personally think the two make a good combo.
Runs and hides after mentioning Exedy... :uhhok:

The best mod I have done yet, the motor feels alive and responds very quick to any throttle input. down shifting is much smoother and faster and the car also feels like it wants to go easier too.
I have an ACT HDSS kit after my Exedy kit blew up after 7,000 miles. I also have a Fidanza Flywheel. I'd say stay stock if you are not planning on making a lot more power or go with something on the milder end like the ACT HDSS.

I have a used OEM jdm ITR clutch that I plan on using when my stock clutch starts to go (actually its already going). In fact I plan on putting my flywheel in there when I put my 'new' clutch in fairly soon.
I like the feel of the OEM, and as long as I can find a reasonably priced one (slightly used?), I'll stick with those.
If I am in a bind and need a clutch (non oem), I'd get the Action 1ms.
