Default air condition

Has anyone noticed that the air blowing out when the a/c is on is not very cold? Does anyone know if there has been any service bulletins on this?

I have noticed it does not seem cold when is very hot outside. What I do when this happens is to run the rmps up & that helps the compressor, & it gets cooler.

I have noticed the same on my base RSX the air just doesn't get that cold. Only, at night when it is not so hot.

well lets think about this for a second....if its hot outside and you are cooling the air just as much as you would if it was cold outside, the a/c will be cooler when the air outside is cooler....its common sense.

Air conditioning works by removing heat. Technically speaking there is no thing as cooling, you just remove heat. As the outside ambient rises the condenser coil gets warmer. You want to maintain at least a 35 degree difference between the temp outside and the condenser (outside 35 degrees less than condenser temp). http://www.howstuffworks.com/ac1.htm
