Default Will LS Transmission Fit and Work right on a B16A2 Engine

I bought a B16a2 with no Transmission I was wondering if the LS from a Acura Integra would be a good transmission for the B16a2
Any help would be good
thanks

yes it will fit, i think. The gears are very long for the b16 though, if you shifted at redline you would not be in the b16a2's main power band.

Any B series tranny will work with a B series motor, the gearing will just vary.

yeah, id probably opt for a gsr tranny. that would probably keep it in the vtec powerband, and have longer gear ratios, for higher speeds.

As long as you mean 94+ LS, you'll be fine. 90-93 will need a conversion kit, and 86-89 is completely out of the question (wrong series and actuation type)

Ya 94+ LS it has to be hydrolic. So it will work fine?? Even though the engine is V-tec and the transmission isnt??
