Default my bulbs!

I have halo projectors.. i blew the showoff bulbs on the right and then I put the ones that orginally came with the projectors in...

now they blew! wtf... not more than a week for either one.... is this what happens the the wiring harness is bad? I might send ti back and get a new set if this is the case.

the original ones didn't blow up... it did something and now the inside of the glass is all multicolored... kinda like those bottles you buy that have different levels of different colored sand...

weird... any help guys?

either you wired something bad, the wires are just bad....or the quality of your projectors is just "shit"

isnt this like your 2nd or 3rd run in with problems with these projectors?

yea it is. ..... the person is being cooperative so i'm going to put the other 'hyperwhite' bulb in the right one to see if it will blow it. if it is. i'm going to ask for a new set of projectors and wiring harness... cuz the left one was techncially defective when I recieved it.

it has insulation of the h3 wire exposed without that heat resistant material covering over it. i would imagine that over time that might melt... causing another mess

i bought the same halos and as soon as i hit the brights i blew both aftermarket bulbs, i since have bought different ones and they have been fine ever since. I did notice that i blew the bulbs without the wiring harness the halos came with, then i hooked up the harness and put new bulbs in and its been since a month and they have been fine.

i used the harness and w/o it... you might have touched the bulbs or they weren't clean...

if there is oil on it... it'll probably blow the first time you use them imo... mine blow 4 days later...
