when i first got my car last year, it drove fine n pushed hard fine up to 8000, but now it goes fine up to 6500-7000 and instead of increasing in speed, it drop really bad, like so i have to shift around 6500-7000, im guessing my high end of my clutch is burned out. Someone tell me if their is any other possibilities, oh btw, my car has about 55xxx miles, i got it wen it was at 32xxx miles. and if it is my clutch im thinkn bout getting an ACT Streed disk and heavy duty pressure plate with a 9weight. would that be a good choice?

Dirty spark plugs? Injectors Dirty? Might try changing your fuel filter as well...

Do the RPM's continue to rise at upper RPM's and the car doesn't really do anything? Bad clutch then... Here's how to check it (might sound funny, but it will work)... drive down the road at like 25-30 miles per hour... put the car in 4th gear... push in the clutch rev it way up in the RPM's like 6-8K then dump the clutch watching the tach... if the clutch is going bad, it'll slip.... if it not, the car will just get this boggish feel...

let us know what you've checked already so we can help fix it.. You say there is zero check engine lights correct?

just a thought:the car is fully warmed up right?

if you are balling out of control go with a full TODA kit...

Personally i have 81k on the clock and my clutch is growing weaker by the day. I have decided to invest in a Clutch Masters stage 3 and a fidanza flywheel (one of the lightest i could find)...jm2c

I realize I'm beating a dead horse, but there's no such thing as the high end of your clutch being out... if your clutch is bad, when you let off the clutch slowly, with the car on a level surface, the car won't stall...
