What do you recommend for stock wheels. No driving in snow.

I'm looking at Potenza S03's, but they are a little too expensive. What are people's opinions on the Kumho MX tires?

Kumho MXs rock! I love mine to death. Yoko ES100 is very good as well.

Are they noisy? that's the thing I didn't like about my Ecsta Supra 712s. They are noisy as hell on the highway.

Are you looking for the stock size or a 205 profile?

I just got Goodyear Eagle F1's from tire rack. 82 each for 195/50/15. i really like them. great grip in dry and wet conditions. alittle noisy but what performance tire isn't.

I'm looking for 205 tires. I'd like to have something better than the Kumho 712's. They aren't bad, but after running Potenza S03's on the S4 I would like something a little better. I expect some noise, but the 712's seem to be very loud.. especially after they wear in some. I had them on my GSR and my wife's old Tiburon (thank God that's gone) and they were noisy on both of those cars. Anyway, thanks for the input.

Yoko ES100 has been great tire. No noise. WAY better than 712.

ES100s are good tires, but mine have been VERY loud as of late. I've got roughly 20k miles on them (no autox or track events). They grip well, have a decently stiff sidewall, and are really good in the rain. I speak from experience in saying that you won't get anywhere if you try to run them in the snow.

These will become track tires and I will give the MXs a try sometime this year.

I agree. Used to rock the 712 now I'm on the ES100. Definite improvment as for dry and noise. Although for wet traction I'd have to give it up to the 712s.
