Alright.. I just got my 95' Black DOHC VTEC Del sol. Im wondering what times do a "stock" one gets on the 1/4 mile? Not magazine times either. What have ppl actually gotten at the tracks? Also, What have ppl ran with intake headers and exhaust on there DOHC VTEC del sol?

 

high 15s with i/h/e from what i've seen at the track

 

i went 15.2 at 90mph

Is it posible to run a 14.9 with a Vtec del sol with intake headers exhaust with a good driver?

 

with good tires, small wheels (15's or smaller), not caring about the clutch, and some DAMN GOOD driving, I think you could pull it.

 

Ok , Well i have heard that ppl have ran 14.9 with (99' and 2000) Civic SI's with intake headers exhaust. SO, why is it so hard for a Del sol to do it? Its the same engine and the Del sol is abit lighter. How much of a Difference is the Del sol in performace then the (99' 2000)Civic SI?

 

14.9 out of a del sol is not impossable if i went 15.2 with 17" heavy ass tenzo r shu 4s with nitto 450 spinning 1st and half of 2nd.. also correct me if i am wrong i think that the civic is slightly llighter than a stock delsol
