Hey everyone i need some help about silencers. I don't even know exactly what they are besides the obvious noise reduction. I'm going to be putting a lot of time on the road so I've decided to put the miles on my LS and keep them off the R. I have just a muffler on the LS which i don't even remember the brand (don't ask y, long story ops: ), its a dual tipped and sounds pretty good, but reallllllly loud. I wanted to keep my muffler on w/o the noise and thought about putting on a silencer. I need to know where exactly they go, inside the muffler or on the tips somehow? How much they'll cost? Also will they cut the sound out completely or will they leave some left so it sounds like a crappy whine? Should i just cut off the muffler and put a stock one on? Thanks for any advice. I know its a lot of questions

Tell you the truth I have never seen a dual tipped silencer. If you do want one I think you might have to custom built it. If you do they go in the tips of the muffler. Its hard to explain with no pictures sorry.

I'll sell you a Type-R axleback really cheap. Since you have an R you know what it sounds like.
