I have a quick question, what's the difference between
the two engines
the 1.797 and the 1.834 models?

Does anyone have the specifications? Kw? and Curb Mass? of the two cars?

I'm looking a buying my ITR finally really soon?

And am deciding between the two modles and engines?

Plese Help ME??

Cheers

1834 = B18B (Non VTEC)

The VTEC engines have 195 (ITR) and 170 hp (GSR).
The non-VTEC engine has 140-142 hp (LS & GS).

ITRs only have the one 1.797 VTEC engine.
2000-2001 models have more advanced timing than 1997. 1997 is lighter because it doesn't have A/C or rear wiper.

All B18C's have 16 degrees timing as the spec (+/- 2 degrees precision). 97 is lighter then the other years, then 98, then 00/01. However, weight is very close if A/C is installed on the 97 and 98s.

As stated by Roger, the ITR only comes with the B18C5 which is rated at 195hp.

My 2001 has AC and a Rear Wiper

Who told you that? Maybe it was an OPTION???

If you;re buying a Type R with a B18b engine then it's not an R
