How many total Type R's were made for the US?.....

Nobody knows how many were in 2000 and 2001. There was a member on Honda-Tech who got a letter from a guy from acura who stated there were 318 sold in 97 and 1028 in 98. Thats all we know right now.

I am not for sure but thats what I have heard. All I know is that Honda/Acura hasnt provided documentation on those numbers.

There are numbers over 1500. I would think under 1700 based on what i have seen so far.

that is 1700 per year not combined.

I thought the letter from Acura referenced the number of ITR's sold in the U.S (not North America), while the number sequence is for all North America ITR's, including Canada, etc.

I may be mistaken though.
