I want to rig up a good sound system for my R and all my friends say hands down JL is the way to go and i like JL b/c they'r good . I've also heard though audiobahn is a bad a company too, does anyone have any of these two products in their car or give some input??

 

JL audio makes awesome subs, good amps, and so-so components. As far as Audio Bahn, it's ok, but nothing great...It all depends on how much you want to spend.

The companies to go with for seperates are MB Quart or Boston Acoustics if you have the budget, if not, for the money, Image Dynamics, Orion, or Sony are a very good bang for the buck...

As far as amps go, it all depends once again on how much you're willing to spend. An amp is an Amp to a certain degree, especially when it comes to bass.

But price for dollar Alpine is one of the best amps you can buy. As far as sound quality and very low distortion power, there are amps like Xtant, Nackamichi, Mckintosh, Eclipse, Sound Stream, and even amps like Pheonix Gold and Orion sound pretty damn good.

As far as subs go, hands down, JL wins in my book....

Just remember, when it comes to stereo equipment, you really get what you pay for, and that you can count on...
