Assuming the car is in good shape for the mileage and the title is clear I would say $18,000-$18,500 would be a good deal. Definitely easy to find them under $19,000.

I would say 18k is a good price. Just do what skyline gtr said and check with carfax to be sure it hasn't been in an accident, etc...

Good Luck!

Be careful, and don't listen solely to a car fax report...I used to manage a small Ferrari/Porsche dealer in FL a little less than a year ago, and we ran cafax reports on all our cars and even the ones which had been in terrible accidents, often came up clean. People also wash titles by transfering titles back and from different states in order to make them appear clean, so be careful of out of state titles.

Your best bet is to take the car to a body shop, and know which pannels have been painted, and confront the person selling it, and find out what happened, if the body shop finds anything. You can also do a little preliminary sniffing around by looking for all the VIN tags on all the different pannels, almost everyone has one.

Any way, good luck with it....

Aj
