Acura/Honda head compatability question
Can I put the head off a 93-96 PRELUDE Si DOHC 16V V-TEC 2.2L- H22A1-2157cc motor.....on my 92-'93 INTEGRA DOHC16V 1.8L-B18A1-1834cc-motor with ecu and harness from the 93-96 PRELUDE
Can I put the head off a 97-'99 INTEGRA TYPE-R DOHC-16V V-TEC(190 HP) 1.8L B18C5 1797cc-motor......on my 92-93 INTEGRA DOHC16V 1.8L -B18A1-1834cc-motor with ecu and harness from the 92-93 INTEGRA
If these dont work together can you recommend a head that put a little more more kick in my 93-INTEGRA-DOHC-1.8L-16Valve- B18A1-1834cc-motor

Ok, back up a little... First off, anything that comes from an H series will not work in a B-series. We tried the valve springs on accident, and, well, you don't want to know...
As far as B-series anything else, will bolt right up. A Pr3-4 head casting, newer ITR will bolt up fine to an older B18A(LS) block, but in order to get the V-tec to work, you will need to run an extra oil line:

But, and this is important, you can't use your existing harness or computer, otherwise you won't have any V-tec. This isn't entirely true, you could modify yours to work with Vtec, and just change ECU's, but you're really better off switching harnesses entirely, I'd try and find a wiring harness from an older B17 or something, and just , and use what ever clips from the old harness you need if any.
Have fun, keep us posted...
